Girls Haven Fundraiser – Party for a Cause

Girls’ Haven, Inc. is a residential facility for girls, that seeks to provide a safe, nurturing environment for girls affected by abuse, homelessness, or severe family dysfunction. We’re turning Tragedy into Triumph! On September 5, 2018, K-BOB’S America’s Kitchen held a fundraiser and donated 50% of all dining sales to the non-profit. Since the first K-BOB’S opened its doors it has it has taken pride in being strong community partners as well as providing down-home hospitality and great tasting food. Fredericksburg Wine Fest volunteers have a grand time at K-BOB’S

Brooks Flory

Brooks Flory: New GM in Fredericksburg

Brooks Flory, a Fredericksburg Native, Named New GM in Fredericksburg We are thrilled to introduce our new General Manager, Brooks Flory.  Brooks is originally from Fredericksburg, attended Fredericksburg High School many, many years ago, has a lifelong career in restaurants and can grill a perfect steak. He is an avid outdoorsman, and a Dallas Cowboy fan (make sure to watch the games with Brooks at our bar or on the patio).  Most importantly he LOVES food and we are so happy to have him join our K-BOB’S Family.

K-BOB’S Gets Creative with Executive Chef O’Brien.

Executive Chef O’Brien With some patience and the help of Chef O’Brien, Morgan and Edward tasted some new menu items at the Fredericksburg store.  New dishes that we hope will hit the menu soon include a pulled pork sandwich and cowboy bread pudding.  Morgan and Edward come up with an idea for a dish, and the chef pretty much with a blank slate comes up with one of our award-winning dishes.

Introducing the Fried Pickles.  K-BOB’S introduced hand-battered Fried Pickles to our appetizer offering.  Talk about culinary innovation!! So far, is jumped to the top of the ranks – thanks for all the great feedback. “The best fried pickle I have ever had,” said one guest.

Teacher Appreciation K-BOB’S appreciates teachers for their dedication to our kids and community.  To show our appreciation and thank them for their dedication, K-BOB’S has distributed over one-thousand $10 gift certificates to teachers in Fredericksburg, Lamesa and Beaumont, Texas.  We are proud to recognize and celebrate our teachers and the effect they make to the children in our communities.

Volunteer Appreciation – A night of Giving Back in Fredericksburg Fredericksburg Wine and Food Fest 2018 volunteers relax and are appreciated at K-BOB’S before the Festival this weekend in Fredericksburg Texas.  Morgan Booth hosted a lively happy hour at our patio, wine, beer, food and fun were had by all. K-BOB’S is all about family community & school – we are proud to be members and part of your lives.

Chef’s Delight! K-BOB’S participated at the 25th annual Chef’s Delight sponsored by The Sabine Area Restaurant Association.  Our K-BOBS made a splash – we served chicken, steak and shrimp K-BOBS.   This year the event honored long-time board member Arthur Berry and funds raised from this event provide scholarships to Lamar University Hospitality Management and Culinary Program.
